About Travellers' Friend

The aim of the Travellers' Friend is to provide a source of reliable travel information. It is our intention that the site should be as comprehesive as possible. However the world is a big place and it will take some time to cover all the areas comprehensively so keep tuned for future updates.

In order that you can gauge how reliable a piece of information is we have included a publication date or review date where ever we can.

Of course the most reliable source of information comes from actual experience, so if you feel that there is something else that can be said about a particular place or wish to add information your self, just drop us a line and we would be happy to consider its inclusion.

An additional ambition of the site is to encourage travel industry companies to improve the service that they provide to each of us. The reviews contribute towards this but we have also included a BE HEARD section which contains some surveys for users to complete. The information entered is then used to create league tables of the best and worst in various sectors of the industry. So the next time you take a train or plane fill in a survey so that you can reward or punish the company.

You will notice that wherever you provide information we also ask for your email address. Now you might worry that we are going to sell your address on or spam you with latest offers. Well nothing could be further from the truth. Firstly Bedrock Computers has a policy against all Spam Mail. Secondly so does our service supplier so if we Spam you they will cut us off! The reason why we insist on your email address is because we may need to contact you concerning any submission.
